Brown Residence

Senator Charles Brown built this modest home in 1929, just across from the general store (now the museum) he helped run in Shoshone. It wasn’t just a house—it was the heart of town leadership and family life. Charlie lived here until his death in 1963, and his wife Stella stayed on until 1970. Quiet and enduring, the house reflects the Brown family's deep roots in the community they helped shape.
