Old Timers Inn![]() In early 1926, Dad Fairbanks and son-in-law Charles Brown built a four-room motel. The "Old Timers Inn", as it was called, was one of the first tourist accommodations in the Death Valley region. Preceding the resorts at both Stovepipe Wells and the Furnace Creek Ranch, the little motel eventually became part of the Shoshone Inn Motel built later on. Previous - Next |
