Huhn Residence

The Huhn Residence was the final home of Ernie "Siberian Red" Huhn, a Shoshone character known as much for his poker face as his prospecting. Built in 1951, the modest house saw little of its owner—Ernie passed away just a year later in 1952. Though his time there was short, the home stands as a quirky landmark tied to one of the town’s more colorful personalities.
